In the next few weeks, flu shots will be offered at the Columbia/Boone County Department of Health and Public Services and by the Student Health Center staff at various locations on campus.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, 2,614 deaths in Missouri were associated with flu and pneumonia during the 2007-2008 flu season.
