Photo Story: MU Indie Rock: drona’s Concert at the Zipper Fest

Siblings Pasha, Surya and Arjuna Raghu from drona kicked off Zipper Fest with their indie approach to music.

Dronasetup Bb 1 — drona sets up to perform during the Zipper Fest on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023 at Sentinel Park in Columbia, Mo.

Drona Bb 2 — drona — made up of siblings Pasha (left), Surya (drums), and Arjuna Raghu (right) — began with their first song at the Zipper Fest. the band was the first to perform at the Zipper Fest.

Pasharaghu Bb 3 — Bassist Pasha Raghu tunes her guitar. Before the concert, Pasha wrote a few songs originally for a class project but are now apart of the bands discography.

Suryaraghu Bb 4 — Surya Raghu performs a solo piece during drona’s concert for Zipper Fest. Each band member had their own solo performance during the concert.
