Jan Zubik and Kayla Wilson led the way for MU swimming and diving against the Auburn Tigers and Hoosiers.
In its home opener against Auburn and Indiana, Missouri swimming and diving collected multiple podium finishes. Sophomore Jan Zubik was the first Tiger with a podium finish, placing second in the men’s 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:46.88.
In the men’s 100 yard freestyle, junior Grant Bochenski dashed to third with a time of 43.87 seconds. The men’s 400 yard freestyle team placed second with a time of 2:59.17 seconds. The squad included Bochenski, senior Daniel Wilson, senior Darden Tate and junior Calvin Windle.
Over on the diving platform, senior Kayla Wilson jumped to third in the women’s three meter platform, scoring 312.00 points. On the men’s one meter platform, sophomore Collier Dyer finished second, scoring 346.00 points. In the women’s one meter platform, sophomore Kamryn Wong placed third, scoring 287.25 points.
The Tigers will look to strengthen their results at their next meet against Lindenwood on Nov. 3 at Lindenwood University at 11:30 a.m.
