The Tigers make their first mark in the 2025 recruiting class with a top-100 prospect
Four-star quarterback Matt Zollers committed to the University of Missouri on Thursday, April 4. Zollers marks the first commitment for the Tigers in the 2025 Class.
Zollers is a native of Royersford, Pennsylvania, playing as a member of Spring-Ford High School. During his junior year, Zollers threw for 2,917 passing yards with 37 touchdowns while throwing only two interceptions. These accolades earned Zollers a spot on the 2023 6A All-State Team.
Zollers enters ranked as the No.8 quarterback and No.78 overall recruit according to composite rankings. This marks the highest-ranked Missouri quarterback commit since Drew Lock in 2015.
Zollers chose Missouri over the Georgia Bulldogs, along with in-state schools such as Penn State and Pittsburgh.
With the departure of senior quarterback Brady Cook after the 2024 season, Zollers could have the potential to start as a true freshman.
