Missouri forward Sarah Linthacum (20) celebrates with her teammates on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 at the Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
The full slate of conference and non-conference games is set for the University of Missouri Women’s Basketball program
Women’s Basketball schedules were released for all 16 teams in the SEC, including Missouri. The 31-game schedule includes 19 home games and a trip to the Emerald Coast Classic.
The Tigers are looking to have a bounceback season after going 11-19 overall and 2-14 in conference play in 2023. As November rolls around, Missouri will have a long first month, including nine matchups with three road trips to Vermont, Western Illinois and Destin, FL for the Emerald Coast Classic.
The Emerald Coast Classic takes place over Thanksgiving week and Missouri will play Syracuse on Nov. 25 and either Creighton or Wichita State on Nov. 26.
The Tigers will then face seven straight home games from Dec. 2 to Jan. 2. During this stretch, Missouri will face SMU on Dec. 5 for the ACC/SEC challenge. Dec. 29 will mark the end of the non-conference schedule with Jackson State making the trip to the Mizzou Arena.
The Tigers will be thrown into the fire of SEC play as their homestand will conclude with the reigning national champion South Carolina Gamecocks coming to Columbia on Jan. 2. From there, the Tigers will play four of their next five games on the road. Missouri will face a mix of top and bottom half SEC teams from the year prior. This will also be their first of two looks at Oklahoma, who sat at the top of the Big 12 in the 2023-24 regular season campaign.
The January slate will round out on Jan. 30 with a trip to Austin, Texas to face the reigning Big 12 champion, the Texas Longhorns.
February brings four more home games in two game sets. The Tigers will first see Tennessee and LSU, followed by a road trip to Texas A&M. They will have a week off until playing Oklahoma and Kentucky at home. Oklahoma is the only team Missouri will see twice in SEC play.
The season will conclude on Mar. 2 with a home game against Vanderbilt.
The SEC Tournament will begin on Mar. 5 and will be played in Greensboro, South Carolina for the seventh straight year.
The Tigers tip-off of the season will be on the road on Nov. 4 at Vermont.
