
Here’s how the Tigers performed in its last tournament of the fall season
On Sunday, Oct. 18, Missouri women’s golf finished out its fall season playing in the White Sands Bahamas Invitational hosted by the Texas A&M Aggies.
This tournament consisted of two rounds with 18 holes played each day. The Aggies hosted 10 teams, including the Tigers, at the Ocean Club Golf Course in the Bahamas.
The Tigers finished at No. 5 as a team scoring a plus-26 score with three golfers in the top-20 player leaderboard.
Despite moving down five spots on the leaderboard after the second day, sophomore Fleur van Beek landed her third top-10 finish of the season. After scoring 27 consecutive pars out of the 36 holes played in total, she carded a 3-over-75 at plus-6 finishing in the No. 9 spot.
Senior Ffion Tynan moved up ten spots on the second day and carded an even-par at 72 to finish the tournament in the No. 13 spot with a score of plus-6.
On day one, junior Addie Dobson carded a 4-over-75, finishing the first round at No. 13 overall. Moving down four spots after the second day, Dobson finished the invitational at the No. 17 spot scoring a plus-7.
Jade Zamora finished her fall season in the No. 24 spot carding a plus-8.
Rounding out the Tigers’ individuals was Melanie Walker, finishing in the No. 27 spot scoring a plus-9.
Finishing out the top five ahead of Missouri were the Kansas Jayhawks in the lead, followed by Purdue, Baylor and Texas A&M.
The final five teams included Georgia, Xavier, Charleston, Coastal Carolina and Abilene Christian.
The Tigers will take a break for the remainder of the semester and will begin their winter season on Feb. 23 at the Westbrook Invitational hosted by Wisconsin.
