
The Tigers’ offense was on its top game against the Trojans
With strong offensive play from guards Grace Slaughter and Nyah Wilson, Missouri women’s basketball secured a 78-49 win over Little Rock.
Slaughter brought the fire early, scoring a three-pointer and a layup, giving the Tigers a 5-0 lead. Wilson followed closely, scoring a triple and a free throw, setting the score to 13-4.
Senior forward Laniah Randle helped put points on the board, scoring two baskets while adding a single free throw, giving the Tigers a strong lead of 23-6. With one final basket from Slaughter, the first quarter ended at 25-6 in favor of Missouri.

Forward Angelique Ngalakulondi and Slaughter started the second quarter with free throws, increasing the score to 15-30. Guard Averi Kroenke added to an increasing lead heading into halftime, jumping up to 44-18.
The Tigers struggled to score for the first two minutes of the third quarter, as Little Rock strengthened defensively.
Wilson brought up the energy in the third quarter, adding five more baskets to the scoreboard, wrapping up the third quarter.
Abbey Schreacke started the fourth quarter adding a jumper and two free throws from Tionna Herron, 70-32. Despite missing an entire quarter, Randle kept her poise and added two points to the scoreboard.
The Tigers had an unexpected dry period for four minutes, struggling with personal fouls. Hilke Feldrappe finally broke the scoring silence with two points of her own.

Slaughter and Wilson were both the top scorers with 19 points, Slaughter with seven rebounds and Wilson with three rebounds. For Wilson, this would be her most points scored as a Tiger.
Ngalakulondi showed her strength as a forward, posting eight rebounds and nine points. Kroenke earned four assists, with one basket and five rebounds.
The Tigers went on the road to Florida to face Syracuse in the Emerald Coast Classic on Nov. 25-26.
