The sounds of guitar, bass and drums filled the air at the Saturday Night Berlin Showcase on March 1 at Cafe Berlin. Columbia-based band Tri-County Liquidators opened the night, bringing energy to the crowd, with St. Louis-based band, Kids following suit. The night closed with David Nance and Mowed Sound bringing a more mellow feel to an energetic show.
People gathered at Cafe Berlin for the Saturday Night Berlin Showcase, a “rock ‘n’ roll particle collider of big muff engaged guitar twangs and thrums,” on Saturday, March 1 in Columbia, Mo. Attendees were able to purchase drinks and enjoy the sounds throughout the night.
Tri-County Liquidators opened the Saturday Night Berlin Showcase at Cafe Berlin. The Saturday Night Berlin Showcase was one of many concerts connected to the True/False Film Fest with other shows happening around Columbia throughout the festival’s four-day span.

The setlist for Kids, who played 11 songs total in their hour-long set, lies on the stage. Kids is a dual-fronted band, led by vocalists and guitarists Julio Prato and Ani Kramer.

David Nance & Mowed Sound close out the Saturday Night Berlin Showcase at Cafe Berlin. Their sound is described on the True/False Film Fest website as, “eerie country rock sound, infused with the ache of the present.”
