Missouri Tigers women’s basketball finished the 2024-25 season 14-18, ending on a blowout loss in the SEC Tournament. After the season’s conclusion, former head coach Robin Pingeton officially departed from the program, along with 10 Tigers. New head coach Kellie Harper has been working to fill those open spots with a roster of her own. Given that the Tigers have a drastically new roster, here’s the update on who’s in and who’s out.
Departures
On April 8, junior guard Ashton Judd entered the transfer portal, leaving Missouri after playing three years as a Tiger. Her freshman year, she was on the 2022-23 All-SEC Freshman Team.
In the 2024-25 season, Judd ranked 34th in scoring in the Southeastern Conference, averaging 11.6 points per game. She reached 1,000 career points in her final game as a Tiger against Mississippi State.
Throughout the portal’s window, three Missouri seniors entered the portal to seek another season of eligibility. Laniah Randle, De’Myla Brown and Nyah Wilson were all thought to have exhausted eligibility but will be trying their hand for another year of playing.
Randle was tied with Judd for the team’s second-leading scorer, averaging 11.6 points per game, along with an electric game-winning layup against Arkansas. Brown and Wilson contributed key minutes to the guard rotation, as Brown and Wilson averaged 5.4 points and 4.8 points per game, respectively.
Junior guard Tilda Sjökvist entered the transfer portal on March 20. She averaged 1.6 points and 1.4 assists last season in 266 minutes of total playing time.
She spent one season with Missouri. Not knowing where she would go next, her minutes with the Tigers were spotty, leading to an inconsistent role. Nonetheless, her absence leaves another open spot in Missouri’s guard rotation.
Rounding out the departing Tigers are Lucija Milkovic, Hilke Feldrappe and Londyn Oliphant. These outgoing transfers, along with the graduation of Angelique Ngalakulondi and the medical retirement of Tionna Herron, leave plenty of room for Harper to bring in a crew of her own.
Signed
Junior guard Saniah Tyler was Missouri’s first transfer to commit to the team. Tyler began her college career at the University of Kentucky in the 2022-23 season. In her 2023-24 season, she played in 32 games, averaging 10.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. She notched a career-high of 22 points twice and six 3-point field goals.
Her statistics dipped in the 2024-25 season, averaging 2.3 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. In the Feb. 20 game that saw Missouri take on Kentucky, Tyler scored five points with one 3-pointer en route to victory.
Junior forward Jordana Reisma will be playing her senior season with the Tigers. A transfer from Cleveland State, she announced her decision to be a Tiger on April 14. During her time at Cleveland State, she was on the Horizon League All-Freshman Team and ranked 10th in total blocks in CSU history.
In the 2024-25 season, Reisma averaged 14.5 points and 6.9 rebounds. In her college career, she has scored 1,072 total points. Her first game with Missouri will be her debut in the SEC, hopefully bringing her shooting strengths with her.
Like Reisma, sophomore guard Shannon Dowell will make her SEC debut with the Tigers. Transferring from Illinois State, Dowell was on the 2024 All-MVC Freshman Team and the 2025 All-MVC Second Team honors.
She averaged 17.6 points and 5.2 rebounds during the 2024-25 season. Dowel is 31 points away from hitting 1,000 points in her career, which she will almost certainly fulfill as a Tiger.
The final transfer to date is freshman guard Sydney Mains, who announced her commitment to Missouri on April 19. From Florida Atlantic University, her playing time has been minimal, as she has been injury-prone throughout her career.
Mains played in three games last season before she suffered an injury early in a game against North Florida. She had six points and five rebounds in the 2024-25 season. If Mains can stay on the court, an opportunity to reach her full potential will present itself with Missouri.
As the offseason continues, the Tigers have six remaining roster spots to fill.
