The inside of Missouri’s offensive line is a spot that rarely seems to lack depth these days.
So it doesn’t come as a surprise when the Tigers landed their first four-star recruit of the 2026 class in the form of 6-foot-4-inch, 340-pound guard Brandon Anderson.
Anderson received offers from multiple Power Four schools, but his decision ultimately came down to Missouri, Tennessee, Maryland, and North Carolina.
Anderson, rated a four-star recruit by the 247Sports Composite, is listed as the No. 36 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 45 player in Georgia. He hails from North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia.
The 2026 prospect went through a lengthy recruiting process, fielding offers dating back to the winter of his sophomore year. Anderson held seven visits before committing to the Volunteers on Oct. 20 of last year, but he decommitted this past January.
Anderson made his first official visit to Columbia on June 6 before pledging his commitment to Missouri on June 29. He returned for an unofficial visit this weekend as the Tigers hosted Alabama in a 27-24 loss.
Anderson has also played on the outside, previously manning the right tackle spot early in his high school career. Anderson’s physical, stand-up blocking style made him a dominant force in the trenches.
Anderson joins Khalief Canty and Boonville High School standout Braylon Ellison as Missouri’s three interior line prospects in the 2026 class, and currently stands as the only four-star among the group.
Missouri will need to solidify the middle of its offensive line next year, with star center Connor Tollison running out of eligibility at season’s end. The transfer portal could play a factor, while names such as Tristan Wilson and Logan Reichert wait in the wings for a chance at a starting role in 2026.
While Tiger fans shouldn’t expect to see Anderson mauling defenders in his first year, it might not take him as long as most to make an impact.
