Two suspects involved in an armed robbery at the Break Time convenience store Wednesday morning have still not been identified.
Police were dispatched at 1:25 a.m. to 301 Nebraska Ave. after a store clerk called 911, according to a CPD news release.
Two black males entered the business and demanded money from the store clerk. One of them was equipped with a gun. A single shot was fired but no one was injured.
βThe suspect had a gun and the clerk gave the money,β CPD spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said.
Both suspects fled eastbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the news release.
The men could be charged with robbery in the first degree and armed criminal action, Stroer said.
Both suspects were thin, approximately 5β11β and were seen wearing dark clothing.
An investigation is still underway.
