**1. Four caught smoking marijuana in SUV**
MU police spotted a group of people sitting in a parked sports utility vehicle while performing parking lot checks at 5:14 p.m. Friday in lot AV-14.
“A group was sitting in a vehicle that wasn’t running, but the lights were on,” MUPD Capt. Brian Weimer said. “When the window came down, the officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana.”
Joseph McGovern and John Odibo, both 18, and Jacob Moore and Zachary Gray, both 19, were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. All four are MU freshmen.
**2. Man urinates on car, runs from police**
MU police on patrol at 12:59 a.m. Friday near the Delta Upsilon fraternity house at 711 Maryland Ave. saw a man urinating outside.
“The subject was urinating on the bumper of a vehicle,” Weimer said. “Then he took off running.”
Officers caught sophomore Derek Mills, 20, and discovered a fake ID, Weimer said. Mills was arrested on suspicion of public nuisance, resisting arrest and possession of false identification.
**3. Two arrested smoking marijuana on bench**
MU police on foot patrol at 7:45 p.m. Saturday on Rollins Street noticed a male sitting on a bench, smoking an unknown substance.
“The officer approached and smelled marijuana,” Weimer said.
Freshmen Bradford Kellum and Dominique Cook, both 18, were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
**4. Columbia man administers heroin to minors, causes overdose**
Police responded at 9:49 p.m. Saturday to the 2400 block of Walther Court on a call of an overdose victim.
The victim, a 16-year-old female, was brought, unresponsive, to the emergency room at University Hospital, according to a Columbia Police Department report. Police arrested Mason Glover, 19. Glover implicated himself in charges of first-degree child endangerment and unlawful distribution of a controlled substance to a minor.
**5. Victim’s sister reports assault**
Gerald Michael Furlong, 51, and Donald Ray Furlong, 53, were both arrested on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault and interfering with arrest around 2:21 p.m. Sunday, according to Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Latisha Stroer.
Police were sent to 13 Comanche Court and told the two were fighting with a female victim, the caller’s sister. She reported Gerald Furlong pushed her twice and Donald Furlong hit her hand, according to police reports.
