####Three arrested on Jesse Hall roof
MU officers were dispatched to Jesse Hall at 12:10 a.m. Monday. Sophomore Peter Berkovsky, 21; freshman Reed Peck, 18; and freshman Mitchell Porter, 19, were all on the roof of Jesse Hall. Berkobsky, Peck and Porter were arrested on suspicion of first-degree trespassing.
####Man arrested after walking around park naked
John McClain was reported to the Columbia Public Department at 10 a.m. Tuesday for walking near the Boone County Courthouse in the downtown area, wearing only a red blanket covering his waist. McClain, 24, was cooperative when officers asked him to leave. McClain then walked into the CPD station and was again cooperative when asked to leave. Another complaint was made against McClain, saying he was walking around Village Square Park unclothed. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested McClain for second-degree sexual misconduct.
####Man found with multiple guns in vehicle
Columbia Police Department officers were dispatched at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday to Douglass Park when a witness called in about a man sitting in a gray Dodge Ram 1500 with a gun in his lap, spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said. When the officers approached, they asked Deangelo Porter, 21, to step out of the vehicle. Porter complied but then started to run away while officers pursued on foot. Officers took Porter into custody and were then directed by a witness to a pistol Porter had thrown away while attempting to flee. The pistol was later identified as a weapon stolen in a 2008 robbery. After searching the vehicle, officers found another pistol hidden in the center console. Porter was charged with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and possession of an unlawful concealed weapon.
####Suspect arrested on I-70 on meth possession charges
Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday at mile marker 131 on I-70. Joint Communications reported the driver may have been experiencing a medical emergency. When officers approached the vehicle, the driver, Derek Crabtree, informed officers he was not experiencing a medical emergency. Crabtree, 29, gave consent to have the vehicle searched when officers became suspicious of his jittery and uncertain speech. Officers found a clear plastic jar containing a capsule. The contents of the capsule tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers also found a plastic pipe with residue upon searching Crabtree. Crabtree was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and for operating a motor vehicle on highway with a revoked license.
####Intoxicated patient spits on officers, resists arrest
CPD officers were dispatched to Boone Hospital Center at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday in response to an uncooperative subject in the emergency room, intoxicated patient Patrick Livell. Livell, 34, was escorted off hospital property by officers. Officers asked Livell to leave or be arrested for trespassing, but Livell laid on the ground and refused to leave. When officers tried to remove him, Livell spit on them. He was handcuffed and taken to the police department, where he also resisted an officer when getting out of the police car and spit on another officer. Livell was charged with first-degree trespassing and two counts of third-degree assault of a law enforcement officer.
