A man robbed a Subway sandwich shop at Crossroads Shopping Center on West Broadway on Saturday.
Police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 1 p.m., according to a Columbia Police Department news release.
The release stated a man walked into Subway on Saturday afternoon, ordered a sandwich and displayed a gun at the cash register. The man fled north on foot with an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. An immediate search for the suspect was unsuccessful.
