The final night of the Homecoming Talent competition took place Wednesday in Jesse Auditorium. After three nights of skits and musical performances, the judges must now decide who will win the competition.
Zeta Tau Alpha and Pi Kappa Phi performed an Ancient Greek-themed skit where the protagonist, Otis, is shot with Cupid’s arrow and falls in love with Aphrodite, a daughter of Zeus.
Members of Chi Omega and Alpha Epsilon Pi performed a mash-up of “Thinkin’ Bout You” by Frank Ocean, “Take Care” by Drake and Rihanna, and “Don’t Wake Me Up” by Chris Brown.
Pi Beta Phi and Delta Upsilon performed a skit about a hectic journey to Woodstock in 1969.
Two members of Pi Beta Phi performed “Marry the Sea” by Imaginary Cities with only a table and cups to keep the tempo of the song.
Delta Gamma, Phi Delta Theta and Kappa Sigma performed a skit that placed MU in the Southeastern Conference during the disco era.
MU’s Official Dance Crew performed a hip-hop routine before intermission.
Delta Delta Delta and Pi Kappa Alpha based their skit off Brad Pitt’s attendance at MU. When Pitt comes back to MU to film a movie, he faces several challenges to start filming without missing the big game.
Members of Kappa Kappa Gamma and Phi Gamma Delta performed an acoustic mash-up of “Beautiful Time” by Need To Breathe.
The final performance was Chi Omega and Alpha Epsilon Pi performing a skit set in 1964 about the first time the Beatles played in America.
All three nights of the Homecoming Talent competition were made up of comedic skits, random singing and organized dancing. Greek Life members racked up spirit points by cheering and chanting throughout each show.
Judges will announce all Homecoming awards Sunday in front of Jesse Hall.
