Police arrested Brandon Federighi, 18, Grant Wildfang, 19, and Bradley Ledo, 18, early Wednesday morning in Parking Structure #7, located at 1001 Monk Drive.
The officer drove to the top of the ramp and observed a gray Ford Mustang with several individuals inside, MU Police Department spokesman Brian Weimer said.
The individuals were inside the car smoking marijuana, according to MUPD reports.
A multicolored pipe with marijuana residue, a second pipe, a type of marijuana bowl, a glass jar with marijuana residue, a black scale with marijuana residue, multiple baggies, two large boxes of rolling papers, a lighter and several clumps of marijuana wrapped up in a bag were found at the scene, according to MUPD reports.
Federighi is facing charges of the use, or possession with the intent to use, drug paraphernalia and the distribution of marijuana near a school.
Wildfang is facing charges of the use, or possession with the intent to use, drug paraphernalia and the possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana.
Ledo is facing charges of the use — or possession with the intent to use — drug paraphernalia, the possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana and the purchase or possession of liquor as a minor.
The three individuals were brought into the police station, processed and released on signature summons.
####2. Freshman arrested at Homecoming concert
Police arrested Luke Hughes, 19, on Friday night during the Imagine Dragons concert on Rollins Street.
Officers noticed the individual was attempting to urinate in public, Weimer said.
When police tried to approach Hughes, he turned and ran east. The officers chased him for a distance and caught him by the arm, Weimer said.
Hughes was visibly intoxicated and possessed a fake ID, according to MUPD reports.
Hughes was arrested on charges of public nuisance, resisting or interfering with arrest, false identification and the purchase or possession of intoxicants by a minor.
####3. Traffic stop leads to two arrests
Police arrested Michael Palmer, 18, and Noah Becker, 18, on Saturday evening on Rollins Street after police observed their vehicle making a prohibited left turn.
Palmer was found in possession of a fake ID, according to MUPD reports.
Palmer was arrested on charges of failing to obey traffic laws and the possession of a reproduced or altered license displaying an age older than 21.
Becker was found in possession of Adderall, a psychostimulant drug used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, according to MUPD reports.
There was no label on the bottle citing that it belonged to Becker, which caused him to be charged with the possession of a controlled substance, Weimer said.
Becker was also arrested on charges of the purchase or possession of liquor as a minor.
####4. Woman arrested after allegedly calling in bomb threat
Police arrested the suspect of a terroristic threat at 10:49 a.m. Oct. 16. Angela Malone, 35, made a phone call threatening to blow up the office building of the Department of Family Services at 1500 Vandiver Drive. She was taken into custody and charged with making a terroristic threat with a bond of $500, Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said.
####5. Man arrested in shed after altercation with brother, two others
Police arrested Michael Ray Bower, 51, when they arrived on the scene Saturday at 1501 Vandiver Drive. The assault report indicated Bower punched the victim, his 54-year-old brother, in the mouth. The victim had cuts around his mouth, and he told officers he fell to the ground, hitting the back of his head. He and his brother live together.
At about 2 p.m., which was about 15 minutes later, officers were called to the 4200 block of Clark Lane about a burglary. Bower had forced his way into the home. Neither of the owners was at the house at the time, but they arrived to find the door open. After the female and male victims entered the house, Bower began to fight with them.
He prevented the female victim from getting to the phone to call the police by pushing against her chest. Her boyfriend, the male victim, then began yelling at Bower, who grabbed the male victim by his collar and punched him in the face. The two began fighting on the ground. Bower soon left on foot and was located in a shed by police, who ordered him out. He ignored commands, Stroer said.
Bower was eventually arrested and charged with third-degree domestic assault, resisting arrest, second-degree burglary, second-degree property damage and two counts of third-degree assault.
