####Motorcyclist arrested on DWI charges
Police arrested Cory Dalley, 19, at 24 E. Stewart Road early Friday morning.
The officer observed a black Honda CBR 1000 motorcycle with no registration traveling in the southbound passing lane on Providence Road, causing the traffic stop, MU Police Department spokesman Brian Weimer said.
Dalley was arrested on charges of failing to yield to emergency vehicles, lacking an operator’s license, careless driving and driving while intoxicated, according to MUPD reports.
Dalley was processed and released on a $500 city bond.
####Woman arrested on drug charges at Hawthorn Hall
Officers responded to a report of marijuana odor Friday night at Hawthorn Hall.
Residential Life staff escorted police to the room of Maria Vergnes, 21, Weimer said.
Police found drug paraphernalia in the room, including two packages of rolling papers, a package of pipe cleaners, a small envelope containing gold-colored pipe screens, a metal one-hitter, an orange pill bottle containing marijuana and plastic bags containing marijuana seeds, according to MUPD reports.
Vergnes was arrested on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and the possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana.
Vergnes was processed and released on signature summons.
####Woman runs red light, faces DWI charges
Police arrested Audrey Jensen, 22, early Saturday morning at the corner of Elm and Ninth streets.
Jensen made a right turn at a red light without stopping, Weimer said.
Jensen was arrested on charges of passing through a steady red light, speeding and driving while intoxicated, according to MUPD reports.
Jensen was released on a $500 city bond.
####One arrested on drug charges
Officers arrested Jonathan Nettles, 18, early Saturday morning near Memorial Drive.
The officer observed the vehicle weaving in its lane, causing the traffic stop, Weimer said.
Police found a small metal pipe with marijuana residue and a glass Mason jar containing marijuana in the vehicle, according to MUPD reports.
Nettles was arrested on charges of driving while under the influence of drugs; the use of, or possession with intent to use, drug paraphernalia; and the possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana.
Nettles was transported to Boone County Jail and later released on a $500 bond.
