Haven’t seen Stephanie Meyer’s last “Twilight” movie yet? Don’t worry too much because you haven’t missed anything worth mentioning. Essentially, the last movie revolves around keeping the Cullen family connected and convincing the Volturi that Renesmee is not an immortal child.
The same type of music in the other four movies plays in this movie, Pattinson and Stewart’s acting has not improved and most scenes remain emotionless. The “Twilight” saga also has the same lighting, backdrops and special effects throughout, so little new material is presented.
New characters are introduced with special powers, including the ability to create a defensive shield against other powers, shock others with an electric voltage, manipulate others’ vision and tell a story by touching someone else’s face.
But despite the lack of new surprises, “Breaking Dawn, Part 2” has at least one thing going for it: a killer battle scene. The battle between the Cullens and Volturi is the only reason the movie is worth watching. The scene is packed with more action than the previous movies combined and will leave you on the edge of your seat.
