####Three trespassing arrested on drug charges
Police arrested Alexander Eisenschmied, Alex Stelter, and Taylor Worthington, all 18, near 1300 Rock Quarry Road early Friday morning.
Police were investigating a vehicle parked in the city park’s parking lot after closing hours and found the individuals in the car, according to MU Police Department reports.
The individuals were found with marijuana and a glass pipe containing marijuana residue, MUPD spokesman Brian Weimer said.
Eisenschmied, Stelter and Worthington were arrested on charges of first-degree trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana, according to MUPD reports.
Eisenschmied, Stelter and Worthington were released on summons.
####Woman charged with stalking student
Officers arrested Precious Brown, 28, on Friday afternoon at the MU Police Department after asking her to come in for questioning.
Officers questioned Brown about the alleged stalking of a student on campus. Brown has made contact with this student in person, over the phone, through text messages, through emails and over Facebook, according to MUPD reports.
“We’ve had contact with Brown before,” Weimer said. “She has been warned to stop.”
Officers arrested her on site, prompting Brown to physically retaliate in an attempt to resist arrest, according to MUPD reports.
Brown was arrested on charges of stalking and resisting arrest.
Brown was transported to Boone County Jail and has not been released.
####Student doesn’t pay cab fare, arrested on larceny charge
Police arrested Chandler Pruneau, 19, on Friday night at Hatch Hall.
Pruneau used a cab service to return to Hatch Hall and exited the cab without paying the fare. Pruneau did not return with a payment, according to MUPD reports.
The cab company called MUPD and reported the incident. Once police correctly identified the individual and made contact, Pruneau was arrested on the charge of stealing.
Pruneau was released on summons.
####Woman fights with roommate, faces domestic assault charge
Police arrested Myesha Bell, 19, on Saturday night at Jesse Hall.
Officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic assault call. Bell got into an argument with her roommate, which led to a physical altercation, according to MUPD reports.
“There were blows to the head,” Weimer said.
Bell was arrested on the charge of third-degree domestic assault and transported to Boone County Jail. She has since been released.
####Blue Note patron in possession of bath salts assaults officer
An employee at The Blue Note approached an officer Sunday night about Maxwell A. Chadeayne, 18, whom the employee suspected to be selling drugs, Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said.
When police confronted Chadeayne, he complied and consented to a search. But when officers tried to conduct the search, Chadeayne resisted, slapping the officer’s hands and fleeing. The officer again grabbed Chadeayne and tried to take him into custody. Chadeayne fought, resisting arrest.
When Chadeayne stood up, a small bag of a white substance and two bags of marijuana were found on his person. The white substance tested positive for bath salts and methylmethcathinone, a synthetic stimulant drug. Chadeayne was charged with resisting arrest on a bond of $4,500; distribution, delivery, manufacture or production of a controlled substance with a yet-to-be-set bond; possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana with a $500 bond; and third-degree assault of a law enforcement officer on a $500 bond.
