####Drunk men fight in front of Tonic####
A fight broke out on a school bus outside of Tonic Night Club Bar, located at 122 S. Ninth St. at 1:31 a.m. Friday. Carlos Berastain-Muñar, Bernardo Ferriz-Díaz and Peter Lampe were outside the club before the bus approached and got into a fight once on the bus. Officers arrested the three men on charges of peace disturbance.
####Man steals car, returns it in disrepair####
While a local woman was sleeping, Daniel Edwards, 24, took her car at 2:27 a.m. Friday. CPD officers responded to the car theft at 2300 Parker St. after the keys were returned. Officers escorted the victim to her car, which Edwards said was parked in the Moser’s Discount Foods parking lot. The car’s gasoline tank was empty, oil was leaking from the car and $300 were missing from the victim’s wallet. Edwards was arrested on charges of first-degree tampering.
####Man threatens ex-girlfriend with stun gun####
Damen Smith went to his ex-girlfriend’s house armed with a stun gun at 3103 Green Meadows Way at 8:30 p.m. Friday. After knocking on the door, the victim opened the door a little and Smith pushed it open forcefully, causing the door to hit his ex-girlfriend in the face. Smith held the stun gun to the victim’s face but never used it. The victim pushed Smith back into the hallway and he kicked a storage box before leaving. Officers arrested Smith, 32, on first-degree burglary and second-degree domestic assault charges.
####Intoxicated driver resists arrest, hides under vehicle####
Leroy Morin, 21, was driving north while intoxicated on Rangeline Street toward I-70 at 1:40 a.m Sunday. An officer saw him drive onto the center island that divides the lanes and hit a street sign, causing it to fall into the road. Morin continued north, leaving the scene of the accident. The officer repeatedly tried to pull Morin over. Morin eventually pulled over at 1501 Vandiver Drive and ran away from the officer. He was found hiding under a car and was arrested. Upon inspection of his car, the officer fond a large machete in the passenger compartment and prescription pills in Morin’s wallet. Morin was arrested on charges of duty to maintain financial responsibility, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, possession of controlled substances, unlawful use of a weapon and operating a vehicle on highway without valid driver’s license.
####Sexual deviant sodomizes boy for two months####
CPD officers arrested Kyle Jacob King, 35, on charges of first-degree statutory sodomy at 3900 Clark Lane at 8:37 a.m. Friday. King had been having deviate sexual intercourse with an 11-year-old victim from the span of Dec. 25, 2012 until Thursday.
