Hummus is a fantastic and underappreciated addition to the salad bar. It is absolutely perfect for snacking but can be consumed at any time. I decided to compile a mix of the best things to dip this wondrous creation in. This dish is perfect for sharing with others at your table, or you could just keep it all for yourself and revel in the perfect mixture of pita and vegetables with this fantastic dip. Either way, it tastes just as good.
Ingredients:
1 cup of hummus
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1 pita round, cut into triangles
5-6 slices of cucumber
4-5 carrots
Directions:
Grab a plate and place a large dollop of hummus in the center of the plate, leaving a small indent in the middle of it. Add a small amount of olive oil to the indent you made. Grab the pita round, carrots and cucumbers. Cut the pita into triangles and place them around the hummus, and then place the carrots and cucumbers on top of the pita. Admire the beauty of this dish, and then consume.
