This week’s dish comes from a very good friend of mine who is also quite the food enthusiast. His tastes are typically impeccable, so I had to write up this creation after seeing and tasting it. This dish is a fantastically sweet and somewhat healthy finish to any meal. The addition of nuts, granola or Kashi GOLEAN Crunch can add a little more texture but are completely optional. It is delicious without it but also quite tasty with it. Either way, it is a near-perfect dessert.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup of applesauce
1/4 cup of berries
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Optional:
Sprinkling of nuts, granola or GOLEAN Crunch
Directions:
Add the applesauce to a small bowl, and sprinkle the cinnamon over it. Top with your choice of berries. If you want a little crunch, feel free to add one of the optional ingredients.
