The man accused of kidnapping an MU graduate student was arrested Friday.
Officers arrested Brian Adkison, 23, while responding to a residential burglary call at about 3 p.m. Friday, according to a statement by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
Adkison is charged in Caldwell County with kidnapping and inflicting injury upon his ex-girlfriend, MU medical student Lauren Crawford, 23.
Officers went on a manhunt for Adkison that involved 19 different police departments, three different SWAT teams, helicopters and police dogs Wednesday night.

Adkinson is being held at Morgan County Jail on charges of burglary in the second degree. He has no bond.
