The Columbia Police Department arrested three suspects in a home invasion that occurred Wednesday at The Greens apartment complex on 5100 Clark Lane.
CPD officers were flagged down at 10:08 a.m. by the victim, who claimed he was the victim of a home robbery, saying the armed suspects broke into his apartment and demanded money and property. The victim was not harmed in this incident, according to a CPD news release.
With the description provided by the victim, the police arrested 23-year old Charlie Everett and 21-year old Cody McEacharn in a traffic stop and charged them with first degree armed criminal action, first degree burglary, first degree robbery with no set bond and unlawful use of a weapon with a bond of $4,500. Hayes was also charged with driving with a suspended/revoked license with a bail of $500.
A third suspect was eventually arrested later. 18-year old Pedro Ciarlini was found and arrested at 5:33 p.m. on 4300 Santa Anna Drive on the same day. Ciarlini ran from the traffic stop and threw away a phone that belonged to the victim while he was at it, acording to the news release.
Ciarlini was also charged with first degree criminal action, first degree burglary, first degree robbery with no set bond and unlawful use of a weapon with no set amount.
