The following investigations are in progress, and the following people were arrested or issued summons, according to police reports.
**1. Student arrested for driving intoxicated**
Freshman Nathaniel Blake, 18, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the corner of Rollins Street and Providence Road. He was arrested for violating Missouri’s zero tolerance laws for driving while intoxicated as a minor, failing to drive on the right side of the road and possessing intoxicants as a minor. He was released on summons.
**2. Assault by minor in possession leads to arrest**
Sophomore Taylor Tweedy, 19, was arrested by the Columbia Police Department at 3:22 a.m. Sept. 12 at 700 Rollins St. for assault and possessing intoxicants as a minor. She received two summons and paid a $500 bond for the assault charge.
**3. Vandalism arrest made on campus**
Officers arrested Derek Tarwater, 28, at 1:47 p.m. Sept. 13 near the center of campus. He was arrested for vandalism and released on summons.
**4. Possession of marijuana leads to arrests**
Sophomore Brian Lock, 18, was arrested at 11:47 a.m. Sept. 14 at the corner of East Stadium Boulevard and South Providence Road. He was arrested for the possession of drug paraphernalia and 35 grams or less of marijuana. He was released on summons.
**5. Man arrested for DWI**
Junior Jacob Huber, 22 was arrested at 2:08 a.m Sept. 15 at Hitt and Paquin streets. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to maintain financial responsibility. He was transported to Boone County Sheriff’s Department and was left in its custody.
