####Attorney General Koster sues telemarketer for violating Missouri No Call law
Attorney General Chris Koster announced that he has filed a lawsuit against a Pennsylvania-based telemarketer, Leading Apex, and its owner, Brian Ofner, for violating Missouri No Call laws, according to a news release from the Attorney General’s office.
The attorney general’s office has received more than 480 complaints against Leading Apex, according to the news release.
Koster is asking the courts to stop Leading Apex from continuing to call Missourians on the no call list, and is also seeking financial penalty and cost recovery to cover the state’s investigation and prosecution of the case, the news release said.

####Gov. Nixon announces new jobs coming to St. Charles
Gov. Jay Nixon announced Oct. 3 that a pharmaceutical research company will be creating 320 jobs at its first facility in St. Charles.
Pharma Medical Research Inc. plans invest more than $30.8 million in capital investment, according to a news release from the governor’s office.
“The company plans to rehabilitate a building in St. Charles that previously housed a clinical research organization to expand their drug trial operations,” the news release stated.
The state of Missouri has offered a strategic economic investment plan to Pharma Medica Research Inc. if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria laid out by Missouri, according to the news release.
