The following investigations are in progress, and the following people were arrested or issued summons, according to police reports.
#####Man arrested for public urination downtown
Junior Kyle Royer, 21, was stopped at the corner of Ninth and Elm streets by MUPD for disorderly conduct. At 1:47 a.m. Nov. 7, he was arrested for public urination and exposing his genitals in a way that would cause alarm. Royer was released on summons.
#####Minor arrested for marijuana
Julian Hoelscher, 17, was found to be using narcotic drugs by MUPD. While visiting the campus, he was arrested for being in possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana. University police stopped him at 4:44 p.m. Nov. 9 at 610 Elm St. He was issued summons and released.
#####Public urination next to restaurant leads to arrest
Adam Czamanske, 22, was arrested for urinating in public at 1107 E. Broadway. He was found outside of The Field House at 12:59 a.m. Nov. 7. The police report listed his arrest as a public nuisance. Czamanske was released on a summons.
#####Woman arrested for DWI
Kimberly Fairchild, 37, was pulled over for a DWI and for failing to stay in the right lane. She was pulled over at the corner of Providence Road and Cherry Street at 12:22 a.m. Nov. 11. MUPD transported her to Boone County Jail where she was left in custody in lieu of posting $500 bond.
#####Sophomore driving on closed campus arrested
Sophomore Lia Jackson, 20, was pulled over by university police for driving on a closed campus with an unlicensed vehicle. It was found later that she failed to pay a court fine for the arrest. MUPD stopped her on Hitt Street. Jackson was sent to Boone County Jail and left in custody for a $500 bond.
