####1. Man arrested for not staying in lane
MU Police Department officers arrested Ryan Maris, 29, at 1:42 a.m. Sunday. An inebriated Maris was pulled over at 1312 White Oak Lane after failing to drive in a single lane, where officers performed tests for alcohol use, Capt. Brian Weimer said. Maris also failed to show proof of insurance during the incident. Maris was released after posting $500 bond.
####2. Man arrested for driving while intoxicated
Junior Michael Jeffries, 21, was arrested at 228 E. Old Plank Road at 1:45 a.m. Sunday. Jefferies was driving while intoxicated and was pulled over after failing to drive in his own lane, Weimer said. Jefferies posted $500 bond and was released.
####3. Woman charged with attempting to cause physical injury
MUPD officers collected freshman Miranda Curtis, 18, at 3:34 a.m. Sunday at 1005 Maryland Ave. Curtis was charged with attempting to cause physical injury. The victim had visible scratches on face, eight braids pulled from back of head and swelling above nose and forehead, Weimer said. Residents of Laws Hall contacted the MUPD after discovering the incident. Curtis posted $500 bond and was released.
