####1. Woman charged with DWI and prohibited turn
The MU Police Department arrested senior Madison J. Lilley, 21, March 13 at 1:43 a.m. Lilley made an illegal turn on Turner Avenue and Providence Road, Capt. Scott Richardson said. Officers discovered that Lilley was intoxicated soon afterwards. Lilley was charged with a DWI as well as a prohibited turn. She has been issued summons and posted $500 bond, Richardson said.
####2. Man arrested for multiple charges, transferred to Boone County Jail
MUPD collected Ian C. Weatherford, 22, at College Avenue and Wilkes Boulevard on March 16 at 1:23 a.m. Weatherford was initially pulled over for failing to drive in a single lane, Richardson said. Weatherford failed to provide proof of insurance. Officers discovered Weatherford was intoxicated. They also discovered that Weatherford had a misdemeanor warrant from the city of Columbia. Richardson said that Weatherford was transferred to Boone County Jail after failing to post bond on all charges.
####3. Two students arrested for possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana
Freshmen Justin D. Hankins, 19, and Emma R. Dawson, 19, were arrested by MU Police Officers at 903 Hitt St. and 900 College Ave., respectively, March 17 at 12:37 a.m. Officers observed two individuals in a vehicle with the engine running while on a routine lot check, Richardson said. When contact was made, Richardson said the officers could smell the odor of marijuana. A glass spoon pipe with a partially burnt out bowl, as well as 35 grams or less of marijuana, was found in their possession, Richardson said. Dawson and Hankins were released in the lobby and were signed on summons.
