**Lynn Fair**
_Helping others relieve stress_
Lynn Fair stood outside, waiting for Makes Scents to open so she could create a scent that would help her yoga class “remember to breathe.”
A retired nurse practitioner from Chillicothe, Mo., Fair is a little bit of everything: yoga instructor, swimmer and birdwatcher.
“You’re dead if you’re not moving,” Fair says. “It’s trite but true.”
Her next adventure is adding the techniques of water massage to her masseuse skills. A lifelong swimmer, Fair wants to share her love of water with other people and release their stress.
“There are some people who live life in a treadmill, like a hamster,” she says.
Over the years, Fair has learned this: if not enjoying the breath of the moment now, then when?

_Providing Tigers with safer drivers_
STRIPES, Mizzou’s sober driver program, provides students with free rides home every Thursday through Saturday night.
Senior Megan Cahill, the program’s executive director, oversees the organization and works “to make STRIPES the best it can be and to keep Mizzou safe.”
Cahill, a hospitality management and communications double major, has been involved with STRIPES since her freshman year. She’s worked her way through the ranks, starting out as a driver before being appointed STRIPES’ Safe Ride Programs United Conference Chair her junior year.
Although her position requires her to be on call during all of STRIPES’ operating hours, the Prior Lake, Minn., native says she is “passionate” about the program and encourages others to get involved.
“It’s a great way to meet people from all majors and years,” Cahill says.
And it’s a great way to keep students safer.
