On March 12, the annual MizzouThon fundraising event took over the Student Recreation Center for 13.1 hours. The hundreds of participants, miracle kids and committee members rocked out to music, learned some Sign Language and celebrated the lives of the kids they’ve helped support. At the end of the night, the committee revealed its grand fundraising total of $276,664, a new record. It was all “FTK” or For the Kids. The money will support the MU Children’s Hospital.
