Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders lost the state of Missouri by 1,531 votes. He’s challenging former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. Before polls open Tuesday, Sanders made three stops in Missouri. His rally in Affton on Sunday morning drew 2,291 supports, according to the campaign. Affton High School, where the rally was held, has 860 students enrolled, so many people experienced the rally in a different room. As the doors to Affton High School gymnasium were getting ready to open, the line to get in wrapped from the front doors of the high school all the way around the building. While Sanders didn’t do well in the state, he did win Boone County with 60 percent of the votes.
