Sarah Reesman will take over as interim athletics director on Aug. 5, interim Chancellor Hank Foley announced in a email to the university community Wednesday morning.
Reesman has been part of Mizzou Athletics for 23 years. The Boonville native previously held the titles of executive associate athletics director and senior woman administrator.
“Sarah will have my full support as she steps into this new role later this week,” Foley said in the email.
Reesman will be the third person to serve as interim athletics director in less than a month. Wren Baker took over after Mack Rhoades left to become Baylor’s athletics director in July, and Foley became the interim when Baker took the athletics director job at North Texas last week.
