The Rio Olympics are here, and four Missouri athletes are there.
Wrestler J’den Cox and three swimmers — 17-year-old sophomore Mikel Schreuders and graduates Dominique Bouchard and Mack Darragh — are representing three countries, but one university, at the Summer Games.
Cox will be competing for the U.S., Schreuders will be swimming for Aruba, and Bouchard and Darragh will be swimming for Canada.
Here’s when you can catch them on TV. All times are Central.
####Sunday, Aug. 7
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Bouchard will swim in qualifying heats for the 100-meter backstroke, and Schreuders will swim in qualifying heats for the 200-meter freestyle. All swimming events listed are on NBC.
6–11 p.m.: On the individual side, if Bouchard makes it to semifinals, she’ll swim the 100-meter backstroke. If Schreuders does the same, he’ll swim the 200-meter freestyle. The finals for those events are the next night.
####Monday, Aug. 8
7–11 p.m.: Finals for the women’s 100-meter backstroke and the men’s 200-meter freestyle.
####Thursday, Aug. 11
11 a.m to 2 p.m.: Bouchard will swim in qualifying heats for the 200-meter backstroke.
7–11 p.m.: If Bouchard makes the semifinals, she’ll swim the 200-meter backstroke. Bouchard has a good shot to make it. Finals are the next night.
####Friday, Aug. 12
7–11 p.m.: If Bouchard makes the finals, she’ll swim the 200-meter backstroke.
####Saturday, Aug. 13
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Darragh swims the butterfly leg of the 4×100-meter medley relay. The Canadian women’s team also swims their 4×100-meter medley relay, and there’s a chance Bouchard will be on it.
####Saturday, Aug. 20
Cox competes in the men’s freestyle wrestling in the 86-kilogram weight class. There are matches throughout the day, beginning at 8 a.m. Medal matches begin at 4 p.m. These events are scheduled to air on NBC Sports and USA Network.
