For the second game in a row, the Missouri Tigers found themselves in extra minutes after missing a fair share of open shots in the second half. After an early goal by MU junior Kaitlyn Clark, Colorado reciprocated in the 24th minute. Though the later portion of the game was largely dominated by Missouri corners, breakaways and on-goal kicks, no player could step up to seal the deal. That was until a few minutes into overtime when MU freshman Sarah Luebbert skied above her opponents to head the ball into the upper right corner. The bench stormed the field to celebrate the picture-perfect finish and the team’s third win of the season.
