On the morning of Saturday, Aug. 27, runners gathered in Columbia’s Cosmo Park to participate in a colorful 5K, part of the Color Run Tropicolor World Tour 2016. Labeled as “The Happiest 5K on the Planet” by The Color Run’s website, the run was founded in 2011. Starting the run with a fresh white shirt, participants cross the finish line chalked in color. Upon finishing the run, runners received medals and another coat of neon powder before they participated in the final “Color Toss.”
