The Missouri volleyball program continued to shine in the Southeastern Conference on Friday with a sweep against Auburn. The Tigers are now up to nine consecutive wins, six of those being in key SEC matches.

Missouri started off strong against Auburn in the first set, mainly because of powerful serving. The team recorded four aces, two of which came from junior Kira Larson. Three different Tigers tied for the most kills in the set with three. Missouri won the first set 25-22.

In the second set, Mizzou started to attack more. Sophomore Alyssa Munlyn and junior Melanie Crow had three kills each to lead the tigers offensively. Crow also had an ace, making her one of four players with an ace in either of the first two sets. Mizzou would take the set 25-21.

In the third and final set, the Tigers concluded the match by dominating over Auburn 25-15. Freshman Andie Hanus made her debut for Missouri late in the final set; she helped the team by getting an assist. Junior Sydney Deeken also went into the game during the final set, recording an ace.

The Tigers had several highlights in the win over Auburn. Munlyn was an outstanding middle blocker, recording nine kills. Junior Courtney Eckenrode continued to shine as the setter, earning her ninth consecutive 30-plus assist match.

Mizzou will take on the Arkansas Razorbacks at 1:30 p.m. Sunday as the Tigers return home to Hearnes Center.
