After dropping its Homecoming match against Middle Tennessee State the week before, Missouri came into the game 2-5. As fans filed in throughout the first quarter, Kentucky’s possessions piled up, ending the 15 minutes with a touchdown and numerous defensive stops. Missouri wouldn’t get on the scoreboard until after two more Wildcat touchdowns. Missouri trailed 7-21 at half, and though Missouri was quick to rack up two touchdowns in the final quarter, it was not enough to overcome Kentucky’s 35 points. The Tigers are now 2-6 going into an away game against South Carolina next Saturday, Nov. 5.
