Missouri Volleyball senior Alyssa Munlyn was named to the 2018 Preseason Volleyball All-Southeastern Conference Team on Thursday.
This is the second consecutive year the middle blocker has earned this preseason honor.
Last season, Munlyn ranked 5th in the conference with a .381 hitting percentage and tallied 277 kills. She also recorded 189 total blocks, breaking Missouri’s single-season total blocks record.
“We’re very happy and pleased for Alyssa,” head coach Wayne Kreklow said in a press release. “She has been a great representative of Mizzou Volleyball both on-and-off the court. She’s a great example of everything that is right in collegiate athletics. Alyssa is a very talented athlete, a great student and a caring and compassionate human being. We’re all very proud!”
The Tigers’ first game will be against Delaware State at the James Madison Invitational on Aug. 24 in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
