
Mizzou Madness started a little earlier than expected.
Four-star basketball recruit Tray Jackson decommitted from the University of Minnesota late Friday night. Just a few hours later, he announced his decision to play for Missouri. Jackson joins Mario McKinney as the two players committed for the 2019 recruiting class.
Jackson, who attends for Sunrise Christian Academy, committed to Minnesota on Sept.
10. According to Rivals, Tray Jackson ranks 96th in the country and 23rd at power forward for the 2019 recruiting class.
In the Elite Youth Basketball League, Jackson averaged 13.3 points and 5.0 rebounds for MeanStreets against other AAU teams. When both Mizzou commits McKinney and Jackson squared off on July 12th, they each scored 15 points but the MeanStreets won the game.
He took an unofficial visit to Mizzou on June 6 and received an offer that same day. He had other offers from Oklahoma, Seton Hall and Xavier among others.
