The Missouri men’s and women’s cross-country teams completed their seasons on Friday, Nov. 9 at the NCAA All-Midwest Regional Championships in Peoria, Illinois. The women placed 11th overall, and the men took 13th. Freshman Reilly Revord and junior Kieran Wood both earned NCAA All-Midwest Regional honors by finishing in the top-25.
For the women, Revord placed 20th overall, followed by Tori Findley in 29th and Mikayla Reed in 30th.
On the men’s side, Wood placed 19th followed by Thomas George, who finished 39th. Wood and George have been Missouri’s leading finishers in five of the six meets this season.
Ironically, Iowa State dominated Missouri and won the meet on both the men’s and the women’s sides, hours before Iowa State also beat Missouri basketball at Ames, Iowa, Friday night.
Indoor Track and Field will kick off their season at the Hearnes Center for the Mizzou Holiday Opener on Dec. 8.
