Defensively, redshirt senior Riley Sents collected 14 digs and two assists, junior Leketor Member-Meneh collected five digs and redshirt sophomore setter Andrea Fuentes collected four digs. Fuentes also produced 32 assists during the match.
“Tonight was definitely disappointing,” coach Joshua Taylor said. “We started off well in sets one and two and then showed some nice glimpses in set three, but as a whole tonight we couldn’t get into rhythm. We need to put this one in the rearview mirror quick, as we have another tough road test this Sunday at Tennessee.”
Missouri continues its road trip Sunday where it faces Tennessee (13-12, 7-8 SEC) at 1 p.m. CDT.
