The Missouri Students Association rescheduled the MSA presidential election and student media funding referendum for March 9 to 11.
Technical difficulties spurred the change, as students weren’t able to vote using the [vote.missouri.edu](https://vote.missouri.edu/) site during the initial voting window.
There was an error in the connection between the voting website and its database, which caused the technical difficulty, according to Matt McCabe, the communications director for MSA.
“The BEC is as disappointed as the candidates and the student body in the election’s IT issue,” Bryce Fuemmeler, chair of MSA’s Board of Election Commissioners, said in a press release.
The new voting window begins March 9 at 6 p.m. and ends March 11 at 6 p.m.
