MU club hockey defeated University of Kansas club hockey 7-4 in the “Border Showdown: Home and Home” series on Friday, Feb. 18, at Washington Park Ice Arena in Jefferson City. The two teams were originally set to play on Feb. 24, at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri, but the game was rescheduled.
The Jayhawks led 2-1 after the first period, but MU pulled ahead in the second with three goals from MU and one from KU. MU kept the lead through the third period with three more goals for MU and one for KU.
