A note from the Multimedia Editor
These excellent multimedia pieces recap two of the largest festivals that Columbia has to offer: Roots N Blues and True/False Film Fest. In one of her first pieces in the multimedia section, Sophie Rentschler produced a wonderful recap video of the Roots N Blues music festival, showing off her video production and editing abilities. Eric Kiekeben’s recap video of True/False is equally excellent, and is just one example of the consistently high quality work that he produced during his time in the section. I had the honor of working closely with both of these journalists, Sophie as my co-editor and Eric as one of my staffers. I am so happy that both of them will be on The Maneater’s Editorial Board next year, Sophie as Managing Editor and Eric as Multimedia Editor. They are such talented journalists and I can’t wait to see everything they continue to do!
