At the housing fair, students explored multiple off-campus housing options from a wide selection of information booths, including The Row, Todd, Rise on 9th and more
The MU Housing Fair gave students a chance to learn more about the local housing options. Hosted in the MizzouRec gymnasium, the event featured various information booths set up by local apartment complexes. Each offered details on their pricing, amenities and benefits, as well as some free merchandise and prizes to win.
Informational booths set up in the MizzouRec gymnasium offer students opportunities to learn more about their respective housing options on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at MizzouRec in Columbia, Mo. Options included Residential Life, The Row Apartments, Lofts of Columbia, The Domain, Rise on 9th, U-Centre on Turner and more.Emily Braden presents the various floorplans available at The Row. The booth also offered free t-shirts to students as they visited. Senior Peyton Weiler hands out details for the upcoming Food Truck Festival hosted by U-Centre. The event happened from 3 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 13, across from the U-Centre leasing office. Emily Braden helps a student navigate a virtual reality tour of The Row Apartments’ floor plans. By connecting the headset to an iPad, other students could follow along with the tour in real-time. Sophomore Victoria Gruca holds up a QR code for a student interested in Todd apartments. Many booths offered QR code links to raffles, free prizes or more information about the apartments they represent. Kimie Gelabert tells students about the off-campus housing offered by Canvas Townhomes. Volleyballs and trash bins were set up at the Canvas Townhouse booth for students to try their hand at a basketball-like game. Abbigail Braden tells students about the floor plans available at The Row Apartments. Additionally, The Row offers a shuttle service to bring students to campus without needing a car.
