Mizzou Students for Justice in Palestine continue weekly march throughout downtown Columbia
Protesters chant, “Peace we are fighting for. Free people, free land,” on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Elm and Ninth streets in Columbia, Mo. The march starts at Speakers Circle and continues down to City Hall for a moment of silence before returning back to Speakers Circle.Mizzou Students for Justice in Palestine President Isleen Atallah chants “Free, free, Palestine” with protesters at Cherry and Ninth Streets on their way to Columbia City Hall. MSJP President Isleen Atallah expresses gratitude to protesters who joined while observing Ramadan. “We were screaming over there,” Atallah said. “I would love a glass of water, but since I’m fasting, I can’t. We’re keeping people in mind when we eat and sleep. Let’s work together for Palestine.”
