There’s a lot more to football game days than just the game. Hundreds of volunteers and staff work around Memorial Stadium before, during and after the game to put on a successful event for thousands of fans. From the entrance gates to the stands and the sidelines, the details at Faurot Field are carefully managed to create the electric atmosphere that makes game day unforgettable. The Missouri Tigers’ 29-20 victory against South Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 20 was only one piece of the full game day experience in Columbia. The sold-out stadium was packed for the 14th straight home win, the fourth longest in the nation, tied with Alabama. This collection of photos highlights the events around Faurot Field throughout game day.
