Photo Story | A combination of comedy and music closed off True/False Film Fest at Buskers Last Stand

Performances by Anthony Wilkerson, Tri-County Liquidators and Heliophilia (garden of earthly delights) ended the weekend
Editor’s Note: An earlier version of this photo story reported that Tri-County Liquidators performed at the event, when only Anthony Wilkerson did. Wil Reeves was incorrectly identified as a staff member. He is True/False’s Music Program Production & Backline Coordinator. The story has been updated to reflect these changes.

On Sunday, March 8, the annual Buskers Last Stand was held in the Missouri Theatre lobby, acting as a final send-off for the 22nd True/False Film Fest. This year, the event had a range of performances featuring folk, country, rock and comedy.

Anthony Wilkerson performed honky tonk and folk songs with his band Tri-County Liquidators, Heliophilia (garden of earthly delights) performed indie-rock songs and Jason Shapiro performed a mix of comedy and rock. The blend of genres ensured that everyone would have something to enjoy. No tickets were required for this event and free drinks were provided to everyone in attendance. Attendees laughed and danced in a lively finale to this year’s fest.
