**1. Police arrest freshman trespassing on Memorial Stadium**
Three freshmen were arrested on trespassing charges early Monday in Memorial Stadium.
MU Police Department Capt. Brian Weimer said officers arrived and saw multiple people on the football field.
“Officers went to Memorial Stadium and observed numerous subjects, one running from the scene,” Weimer said. “One subject ran off when he saw the security officer. He was charged with second-degree trespassing and resisting by flight while visibly intoxicated.”
Peter Misurell, 18, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree trespassing, resisting arrest and minor in possession of alcohol at about 2 a.m. Devin Reed and Dylan Sobczak, both 18, were arrested on suspicion of first-degree trespassing.
**2. Police make marijuana arrest in parking structure**
Five freshmen were arrested on drug charges early Tuesday in Parking Structure 7.
“An officer was on foot patrol when he observed five individuals in the parking garage,” MU Police Department Capt. Brian Weimer said. “He made contact with them and observed them with marijuana. They walked up and got into a car parked in a parking spot.”
Carmine Sementa, Derek Mullins, Kevin Casey, Alan Foresta and Benjamin Verhoef, all 18, were arrested at 12:05 a.m. on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana.
**3. Two arrested on charges of underage drinking**
Two minors were arrested at 2:41 a.m. Wednesday on charges of underage drinking. Officers conducting a foot patrol near the Jimmy John’s at 1019 East Broadway saw a young male holding a cup, according to a Columbia Police Department police report. MU freshman Harrison Wickman, 19, said the cup had alcohol in it. He was arrested on charges of possession of alcohol and possession of identification of another. Katherine Buninovich, 19, was arrested for possession of alcohol by consumption.
**4. Two arrested on charges of cocaine and marijuana possession**
Two people were arrested at 2:14 a.m. on Thursday in a motel on charges of drug possession, according to a Columbia Police Department police report. Officers patrolling near the Deluxe Inn Motel at 2112 Business Loop 70 observed two subjects loading a syringe through a cut in a window shade. They knocked on the door and heard quick movement inside. Amy Blacketer, 39, answered the door and consented to a room search.
The officers located a marijuana pipe and a bag containing marijuana, as well as three syringes and a baggie that field-tested positive for cocaine. Gerald Loree, 57, was arrested on charges of possession of controlled substances and Blacketer was arrested on charges of possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
**5. CPD officers arrest two on charges of conspiracy**
Columbia Police Department officers were informed Tuesday evening that Jeffrey Gowin, 20, was planning on breaking into Slackers at 1010 East Broadway, according to a CPD police report.
The officers saw Gowin sitting on a bench across from Slackers with Jacob Morris, 18. Gowin gave the officers a false name and date of birth, but the officers knew Gowin by sight due to there being a warrant out for his arrest. Gowin admitted to providing the officers with false information, and both Gowin and Morris admitted to attempting to break into Slackers.
Gowin was arrested at 11:23 p.m. on charges of deceiving a law enforcement officer and conspiracy and Morris was arrested on charges of conspiracy and possession of burglary tools.
**6. Police arrest one at the Field House Bar on charges of minors in possession**
Officers conducting an open business check at 10:55 p.m. on Wednesday at Field House Bar at 1107 East Broadway had their attention drawn to a youthful looking subject who appeared to be in possession of alcohol. Dylan Tito, a 20-year-old sophomore, was found to be holding a cup of beer, according to a Columbia Police Department police report. He was arrested on charges of minor in possession of alcohol.
